Most of you are traveling this week, be it by plane, train or automobile, to spend Thanksgiving Day with your family and friends. So we've compiled some of the top travel hubs in the US and their corresponding Sickweather forecasts for Thanksgiving to illustrate how our service can be used to look ahead and prepare for your travels. Common cold in the forecast? Boost your immune system! Flu in the forecast? Get a flu shot! Stomach virus in the forecast? Don't go! Just kidding ... Wash your hands!
It's probably no surprise to anyone that headaches are the dominant symptom in the travel hub forecasts, so perhaps pack some ibuprofen and be prepared to wait in long lines and traffic. Just relax, you'll get there eventually ... probably ... we hope. In the meantime, here are some more helpful tips for using Sickweather this season:
- Search forecasts for any area by entering a city, zipcode or airport code!
- Notice the See Map In Motion button above each Sickweather map. Use this feature to animate the past five days of any illness, at any zoom level!
- Headaches, depression and stress are popular this time of year, so take heed when other illnesses like flu, fever and cough are in the forecast.
Have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
