Romero Unleashed

11/15/2011

Today is the first day of our official Open Beta release, SW-0.9.1 "Romero". Thanks to all of our Closed Beta Testers who helped us identify bugs and provided suggestions for some of the added features in this new version. New version? Whaaaa? Didn't you just launch Closed Beta only two weeks ago?! That's right! Some of our updates include:

  • Added Tracking/Reporting for: Allergies, Ear Infection, Hay Fever, Pink Eye, Sore Throat and Sinus Infection
  • Change Location Functionality, so you can now jump to other areas by City or Postal Code and see their forecast too!
  • Set your Default Location in your My Account settings
  • Connect with Twitter to see who among your Twitter friends are getting sick too!
  • Large Map view: This was one of our most requested features! You can now click "See a larger map" beneath the user console map to toggle back and forth between views.

These new features are in addition to several bug fixes and adjustments to our algorithm that will improve the performance of our map and forecasting. We will still be accepting feedback and suggestions via the Feedback tab, and we are committed to improving Sickweather with timely updates and added features. Also, keep an eye out for our free iPhone beta app in the App Store, coming soon! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to be notified as soon as it's available!

You can now join Sickweather without any delay, so be sure to Tell Your Friends!

Thanks for your support!
